In the Bible, the apostle Paul wrote that believers should not only lead their lives according to Gods will, but should also work to please Him.
In other words, believers must live exemplary lives while at the same time making a constant effort to improve in all aspects of their faith.
In this way, they can demonstrate that they are constantly seeking to grow in the knowledge of God and in obedience to His will.
Believers who demonstrate these qualities are known as saints, or people who have been truly touched by Gods grace.
On the other hand, those who neglect to grow in faith are called sinners by default.
Essentially, God wants everyone He has touched with grace to continually improve Christs example and seek additional light on which to base their decisions.
